Well our season has come to an abrupt end with Sharks finishing third in the League table. Normally we would now be preparing for the 2nd v 3rd play off game this coming Saturday, but the wedding of one of our players has forced us to give up our place in the game.

Looking back on the season, it was a disappointing one with a number of games being called off. Out of the scheduled five home games only two took place. Added to this was the absence of players through injury and other commitments which disrupted the the team. Having said that, the spirit and commitment of every player who pulled on a Sharks shirt was outstanding and they should all take credit for their efforts.

Big thank you’s to Matt Jackson, for his coaching and organising Alan and his staff at the Masons Arms (Babbacombe),Peter Layland of Action Stationers (Plainmoor) Paul Field, Christine Fairchild and Johann Fahey.
